Birch Plywood & Painted Oak Kitchen
Oak Veneered Birch Plywood Kitchen with Painted Oak doors and fronts. The veneered cabinets, with the plywood edge exposed add warmth when accessing the cabinet. The drawers are dovetailed too, adding strength and detail. The single piece face frames to each run of cabinets increases the space and offers a cleaner look than multiple face frames, a sign this is truly bespoke.
Modern Clean Lines
The single piece face frames to each section of cabinet run, increase the clean lines to this kitchen. The Oak fronts were painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Down Pipe’ allowing for the Oak grain to show through.
Oak Veneered Birch Plywood was used for the main cabinet material. Using the Birch plywood gives warmth to the furniture, with the plywood edge exposed and also results in a very strong cabinet.
Details not to miss
The shallow space usually left as a void to the end of the island utilised for cookbook storage.
Extra wide drawers under the ovens
Solid Oak spice rack within drawers
Pullout storage with dovetailed drawers
Smart Utility Room
The client also requested that the Utility room was remodelled whilst working on the main kitchen. Framing the washer and dryer give a clean look and follows the style of the cabinetry.
